IRWIN C., December 11, 2009 of Elkins Park, PA. Husband of 60 years of Phyllis (nee Harzenstein). Father of Cynthia (Jacob) Sage, Dr. Stanley (Joan) Fox, Linda Fox (Joe Ferrari) and Ruth (Mark) Macdonald. Grand-father of Naomi, Rebecca, Abigail, Rachel, Alex, Eliana, Shaelyn and Erin. Mr. Fox served his country during WW II in the Army in Germany with the 69th Infantry Division. He also served in Belgium, France and the Battle of the Bulge. At the end of the war he joined his father's business Fox Brothers. The company grew to build such buildings as Benjamin Fox Pavilion, Benson Manor, and Foxcroft Square Apartments. He was known as kind and generous to his family, friends and employees and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Relatives and friends invited to Services Sunday December 13, 2009 at 12 Noon at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SON, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, Bucks Co. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will return to the late residence and respectfully requests that contributions in his memory be made to Congregation Adath Jeshurun or to the Jewish War Veterans.
