JACK, passed away at the age of 93 on Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Born in Philadelphia on March 19, 1919, Jack attended William Penn Charter School and the University of Villanova. Following college, Jack joined the U.S. Navy Air Reserves were he proudly flew during World War II for four years. After the war, Jack joined his family business, G.H.P. Cigar Co. Inc. until the company was sold in 1955.
An accomplished horseman, Jack enjoyed hunting, showing, racing and steeple chasing.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Doris Grabosky; his son, Peter Grabosky; step-sons, Edward Katzenberg and John Katzenberg; step-grand-daughters, Sara Libby, Kate Boucher, Lauren Katzenberg, Julie Katzenberg and Skylar Katzenberg; and step great-grandchildren, Josh Libby, Tess Libby and Ava Boucher.
Graveside Services will be held at the Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln High-way, Trevose, PA on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.
The family respectfully requests that donations may be made in Jack's honor to Villanova University, College of Commerce and Finance, located in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
