JAMES D. "JIM" SAMTER, January 17, 2012, of Gwynedd PA. Devoted husband of 44 years to Sheryl (nee Surkin). Loving father to Scott (Jill) Samter and Stacey (Barry) Jacobson. Brother of Jill (Michael) Glazer. Brother-in-law to Elliot and Carol Surkin. Grandfather of Alexis, Lilly, Drew, Abigail, Halle, Jordan, Jonathan, Gabriel, Joshua, Noah and Naomi. A wonderful person and a quiet mentor - he will be missed by all who loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of his life at a Memorial Service on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 12 Noon, at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Road, Trevose. The family will be receiving friends and family at the late residence immediately following the Service and on Saturday, January 21, from 6:30 to 9 P.M. and Sunday, January 22, from 1 to 4 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's memory to The Rabbi's Discretionary Fund-Kol Ami, 8201 High School Rd., Elkins Park PA 19027.
