Beloved husband of Ruth E (nee Miller), loving father of Joy Cooke, cherished grandfather of Joey, brother of Barry Finkel. Jay is predeceased by his parents, Milt and Eloise Finkel.

Jay is also survived by his brother in law Rob Miller (Anne), two nieces Laurie (Aaron) Shapiro and Carly (Pete) Salamone and two great nephews, Lucca and Vinny.

After his family and friends came his love of flying, boating (past commodore of Georgetown Yacht Club), as well as past president of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity at Youngstown State University.

Family will be receiving visitors at his home (tent outside) through Sunday. Please make sure you wear masks and use appropriate spacing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made out to "The American Cancer Society" and mailed to Jim Bricker, 1614 Ellinor Ct., Middletown DE 19709.
