Joy Dancis Stiller

JOY DANCIS, age 88, on Dec. 24, 2008 at The Quadrangle in Haverford. Born in New York City, Mrs. Stiller was a long-time resident of the Washing-ton, DC area. At the National Library of Medicine during the 1960s, she assisted in the development of the online medical research system Medline (then called MedLARS). She was an avid photographer, gardener, and rug-maker who was also actively involved in various nature-oriented puruits. Pre-deceased by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Ralph Stiller, she is survived by her children Andrew (Ernie Steiner), Jennifer and Jonathan (Judy). Also survived by her sister Marion Dancis Dragoon, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held Dec. 26, 2008 at JOSEPH LEVINE & SON, INC.
