RUBINSTEIN
JUDITH (nee Martin), of Devon passed away on January 27, 2015 at the age of 93. Judith grew up in Chicago and Phila. She proudly served as a Lieutenant in the Woman's Army Air Corps during World War II, where she met and married her late husband of 66 years, Mark. Judith and Mark were well known along the Main Line for the M-R Shop, which originated in Wayne in 1947, then expanded to Paoli in 1955. Judith also acted as a docent in Valley Forge during the bicentennial celebration, volunteered at the Devon Horse Show for a number of years, and volunteered support to the Main Line Symphony. In addition to raising her three children, Judith was the com-municator that kept her large extended family and her friends in touch with one another. She was a remarkable woman who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children Dick (Maggie) Rubinstein, Edward Rubinstein, and Janet (David) Ritter, her grand-children, Josh Rubinstein, Jacob (Megan) Rubinstein, and Ashley (Joe) Fore, and her great-grandchildren, Connor and Abby Rubinstein.
Services will be held at the Chapel at Mt. Sharon Cemetery, 502 E Springfield Road, Springfield (Delaware County), PA, on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Women in Military Service for America Memorial at
