Judith G., April 4, 2024, of East Norriton, PA. Beloved wife of Lawrence Snyder; loving mother of Laurie (Marc) Hochman and Hope (Jud) Embree; cherished Mom-Mom to Avery & Lexa Embree and David Hochman; dog mom to Lucy. Family and friends are invited to Graveside Services Sunday, April 7th, 11:00 AM, at Haym Salomon Memorial Park, 200 Moores Road, Frazer, PA.
Married to Larry after being high school sweethearts. He taught her how to drive. 58 years and it still wasn’t long enough. From Overbrook and Wynnefield, to Fort Bragg then East Norriton, Judy and Larry built a family and a lifetime of memories.
Judy’s heart was always full when the house in Margate, NJ was overflowing with family. The best week of the summer is when Avery, Lexa and David are all present and accounted for. Ocean spray from the beach combined with suntan oil was her favorite perfume. The beach chairs were always in a line with her friends facing the sun. The evening strolls on the boardwalk were sweetened with chocolate fudge and Johnson’s popcorn. If it wasn’t a boardwalk day perhaps it was a hot fudge sundae with chocolate ice cream and wet nuts.
Judy loved all dogs! Lucy is already missing her snuggles.
Judy loved going out to eat. Any place near the water or when the menu included hard shell crabs.
Though gone from our sight, Judy / Mom-Mom will forever remain in our hearts, leaving behind lots of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Please share your memories and photos to this page to make us smile.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy’s memory may be made to National Kidney Foundation - Eastern PA and NJ (www.kidney.org/offices/nkf-serving-eastern-pennsylvania-new-jersey).
