December 23, 2017, Penn Valley, PA. With deepest sorrow we share the recent passing of Judith Birenbaum Wachs z'l beloved wife of David Wachs. Loving mother of Philip Wachs (Juliet Spitzer), Rachel Wachs, Michael Wachs (Lisa) and Martin Wachs (Jenifer); cher-ished grandmother of Michal Wachs (Daniel Gold), Aleeza Wachs (Benjamin Gilman), Gabriella, Abe, Daniel, Adam, Danielle Rosenberg (Shelby), Erica, Eli, Jacob and Emily. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Sunday (Today), 10:00 A.M., Har Zion Temple, 1500 Hagys Ford Rd., Penn Valley, PA 19072. Int. at Montefiore Cemetery. The family will be immediately returning to the late residence for mincha, and then maariv at 7:00 P.M. Shiva minyanim will continue through Friday, with the exception of private family time between the hours of 4 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. Judy was a lifelong supporter of The Perelman Jewish Day School and Camp Ramah in the Poconos. She was a longtime active member of Har Zion Temple, Hadassah, Torah Fund, Lion of Judah of Jewish Federation of Greater Phila-delphia and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Her greatest source of pride and delight was her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Perelman Jewish Day School or Camp Ramah in the Poconos. Baruch Dayan HaEmet.
