Lawrence Berman

Lawrence “Larry" Berman, MD of Crystal River, FL (formerly of Gainesville, FL) passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Bush) for 54 years; loving father of Scott Berman and Heather (Steven) Simon; cherished grandfather of Hanya and Sydney; loved brother of Sheldon Berman. Larry was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was a Navy Veteran and served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary over 30 years. Larry was Professor Emeritus Pediatric Anesthesiology at the University of Florida. Family and friends are invited to Graveside Services Thursday, 11:00 AM, Mt. Sharon Cemetery, 502 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA. Shiva will be held at the residence of Heather and Steven Simon Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings beginning at 7:00pm.
