Laya Rose (nee Singer) Hennes on March 16, 2024, of Farmington Hills, Michigan; beloved wife of the late Richard Stanley Hennes; devoted mother of Amy Hennes (Randy) Stein, Meir (Gail) Hennes, and David (Susie) Hennes;  loving grandmother of Sam Stein, Lily Stein, Rina (Josh) Sabes, Asher (Adina) Hennes, Gila Hennes, Menachem (Atara) Hennes, Aliza Hennes, Daniel Hennes and Will Hennes; adoring great-grandmother of Rocky Sabes, Matan Sabes and Toby Hennes. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services, Tuesday, March 19, 1:00 pm at Haym Salomon Memorial Park, 200 Moores Road, Frazer, PA.  

After funeral services, the family will be returning to the home of Amy and Randy Stein where shiva will commence.  

Davining will commence at 7:15 pm on Tuesday evening only at the home of Amy and Randy Stein. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Laya’s memory may be made to Jewish Family & Children’s Services (JFCS; 866.532.7669; https://jfcsphilly.org/) or a charity of the donor’s choice.
