LEE JANE
83, longtime resident of Wynnewood and Bala Cynwyd, died Sunday, May 28, 2017 after a brave battle with ALS. Lee was born in Philadelphia on May 18, 1934. After raising her two children, Lee went back to school and reentered the workforce. Her career spanned over 30 years at both Jefferson Hospital and Einstein Hospital/Belmont Behavioral Health as the Program Manager for the Geriatric Outpatient Program. Lee was an avid reader and wonderful "cooker" who loved the arts, particularly theatre and modern dance, music and movies from all genres, the company of her many dear friends, and her beloved Phillies. She was filled with light and love which she shared with all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Amy Altshuler Lebo (Gary), grandson Nate, son Joseph, brother Edward Joseph, many dear cousins and close friends whom she considered family.
