Lee B. Weintraub, 85, of Hobe Sound Florida and formerly of Exton Pennsylvania passed away on March 2, 2023 following a lengthy illness. Born in Philadelphia on September 12th 1937, he was the son of the late Reba Landy Weintraub and Irving Weintraub.
Lee was a 1955 graduate of Temple High School. He raised his family in Erdenheim and was the owner and operator of several Sunoco/Texaco stations within the Philadelphia area. Following retirement in 1997, Lee worked part time as a driver for Celebrity Limousine in Malvern, CarSense in Chester Springs, and was the go to man for his sons’ business until he moved permanently to Florida in 2017.
A loving and devoted family man, Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon (nee Wexler) with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. He is also survived by sons Andrew Weintraub (Esther) of Downingtown and Howard Weintraub (Jennifer Kramer) of Exton; and three grandchildren: Rebecca Weintraub of Sadsburyville; Samuel Weintraub of Phoenix Arizona; and Isaac Weintraub of Downingtown. Lee is also survived by his brother-in-law Brad Wexler (Nuria) of Hobe Sound Florida and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him. Lee was predeceased by his sister, Sheila Weintraub Kohn in 2020.
Lee’s funeral service is set for 11:00 am on Sunday March 5th at Joseph Levine & Sons Memorial Chapel located at 4737 Street road Trevose PA 19053. Live stream is also available through https://www.levinefuneral.com/trevose-webcam.html. Graveside services will follow at Shalom Memorial Park 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley PA 19006. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to join the family for a reception and later for Shiva services. Post burial reception, Shiva services and fellowship will take place at the home of Andrew and Esther Weintraub. Shiva will be observed on Sunday March 5th and Tuesday March 7th at 7:00 p.m.
