LEONORE born September 18, 1916, died on Saturday evening, April 9, 2011 at her home in Lenox, Massachusetts at the age of 94. In 1937, she graduated from the University of Chicago, and earned a Masters in Social Work from Wayne State University in 1940. In 1942 she married the late Rabbi Morris Dembowitz, and the couple, married for 63 years, raised 3 children, David, Jacob, and the late Ruth Dembowitz and served the Phila. Jewish Community to-gether. Lee served the Darby Township school system as a social worker in the 1970's. After her husband's passing, she moved to the Berkshires where she lived her remaining years. She is survived by her sons, David and Jacob, and her grandchildren. Funeral ser-vices will be held at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SON MEMORIAL CHAPELS (WEST), 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA. at 12 noon on Tuesday. Interment will take place at Mount Sharon Cemetery, Springfield Dela-ware County. The family will return to the Jack Dembowitz residence.
