Linda Sall

Linda Sall (née Bonow), of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on March 11, 2026. Beloved wife of the late George Sall; devoted mother of Jonathan Weiss, Kristopher Sall, and Sarah Sall; and cherished grandmother of Avery Weiss and Ethan Weiss. She was also pre-deceased by her beloved sister Diane Sernovitz and her first husband, Buddy Weiss.

Linda grew up in West Oak Lane and enjoyed an idyllic childhood. She later raised her family and lived for 40 years in Radnor, PA before spending her later years in Center City, Philadelphia. She received her undergraduate degree from Temple University and a Masters of Social Work from Bryn Mawr College.

Linda lived a full and joyful life with many interests and passions. Over the years she worked as a City Hall guide, a social worker with Delaware County Children and Youth, a family therapist, and started a children’s clothing business. She was a lifelong reader and tennis player. She spent years caring for horses and was an avid gardener. Linda was active in starting and growing Or Shalom synagogue and was passionate about political and environmental causes. She treasured her many deep, lifelong friendships. She approached everything she did with style, warmth, and love, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Frazer, PA. A reception and Shiva will follow at The Willows Park in Radnor, PA at 2:00 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the League of Women Voters of Radnor Township, www.lwv.org/local-leagues/lwv-radnor-township.
