Lois Starr Cohn

Age 86, Lois Starr Cohn, of Rydal, PA, passed away on January 25, 2024. Loving wife of the late Emil Cohn III; mother of Judy Cohn and Andy Starr; Sister of Rabbi Earl S. Starr, sister In-law to Joe Cohn (Al), and grandmother of Taylor Starr and Morgan Starr. Lois was a fabulous, strong woman who was never shy about being herself. She will be remembered for her feisty personality, glamorous looks, world travels, and being a tenacious tennis, golf, and card player. More than anything else, she will be remembered for her love. Lois loved deeply, and she was loved deeply in return. Her family is grateful to have celebrated one last birthday together in December and that Lois is now at peace, reunited with her beloved Emil. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Memorial Services, Sunday  February 4, 2024, at 10am at Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, 8339 Old York Rd., Elkins Park. Services will also be streamed at https://www.kenesethisrael.org/stream-services-online/. Interment will be Private. The family will return to the late residence at Rydal Park and Shiva will be held from 11:30am - 3pm.
