- She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin Schneider and loving partner of the late Dan Garshman.
- Lois was a native Philadelphian, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A.) and Bryn Mawr College (M.S.S), and a social worker for many years. Lois was a lifetime devotee of art, music, and dance and a patron of the arts. She had season tickets to her beloved Philadelphia Orchestra for decades and attended her last concert February 9, 2024.
- Lois will be greatly missed by her three beloved daughters, her friends, and extended family. Contributions in her memory may be made to The Philadelphia Orchestra (philorch.org).
