Sept. 28, 2018, of Philadelphia. Beloved wife of the late Cy Swartz; loving mother of Ben (Amy Norwitz) Swartz; cherished Bubbie of Jordana and Asher Swartz; devoted sister of Francine Haselkorn and Lee Nelson. Relatives and friends are invited to Services on Sunday, Sept. 30th, 1:45 P.M., at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to Playgrounds for Palestine (www.playgroundsforpalestine.org). Lois, a retired teacher in the Philadelphia school system, was a humanitarian who loved Jewish celebration, family, friends, and music. She was a devoted mother and grand-mother who worked tirelessly for tikun olam. Shiva will be observed at Ben and Amy's home Sunday through Wednes-day nights at 7:00 P.M.
