Lydia (nee Nagin) Lefkowitz Manley, died on February 22, 2020 in Haverford, PA. Born on November 14, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Henry Nagin and Sylvia (Hellman) Nagin, Lydia lived in Lake Hiawatha and Freewood Acres, NJ prior to graduating from Parsippany High School in 1965. She received her Associate's Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson College in 1967, and held a variety of administrative assistant positions until her retirement in 2012. Lydia lived in West Caldwell, NJ from 1972-2000, and then in Parsippany and Morris Plains, NJ until 2019 when she moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to her daughter and grandson. Lydia enjoyed reading, listening to Doo-Wop music, consignment shopping, and spending time with her family, friends and beloved cats. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Dan and James. Lydia is survived by her son, Robert Lefkowitz of Randolph, NJ; daughter, Debra Lefkowitz of Ardmore, PA; grandson Nathan; sisters-in-law Florence Nagin and Susan Kaplan; several nieces and nephews, close friends, and her feline companions Cassia and Max.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Temple Sholom in Broomall, PA. The family will begin receiving at 9:00 a.m. with services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Haym Solomon Memorial Park in Frazer, PA.
