GROSS LYNDA Of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2021. She is survived by her husband Larry Gross of Philadelphia, her daughters Alyssa Gross of Philadelphia and Dara Gross (Jonathan Napoli) of Collegeville, PA, and her granddaughter Haley. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Helen Earl, her sisters Mary Canning (Norman) and Rebecca Ellsworth, her sister-in-law Judy Jalbert (Leon), her brother-in-law David Gross (Elizabeth Bodie), eleven nieces and nephews, and fourteen grand nieces and nephews. Adored by all who knew her, Lynda was an elegant, thoughtful and generous lady who dearly loved and took care of not only her immediate family as Mom and Mom-mom, but also her large extended family which included her many circles of cherished friends. She will be sorely missed. Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Lynda was a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and Northwestern University. She was a successful entrepreneur who founded two advertising and marketing businesses, one in Traverse City before starting her family, and the other in Philadelphia after her daughters were born. In between, she worked for several prestigious advertising firms in Ann Arbor and Philadelphia. She was a lifelong philanthropist and longtime trustee of Congregation Adath Jeshurun, Elkins Park, PA. Services for Lynda will be webcast from JOSEPH LEVINE & SONS (website below; call 215-942-4700 for the password) on Friday at 11:00 A.M., followed by interment at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA.
