Husband of the late Grace Bastian Mendel, M.D. Father of Kathryn Mendel Sorkin, Richard Charles Mendel, M.D., and Sigrid Mendel Usen, Esq. Father-in-Law of Sanford Sorkin, Peter Usen and Julia Mendel. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Sunday, August 30, 2009, at 11 A.M., at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SON, N. Broad St. above 71st Ave. Entombment Montefiore Cemetery. Family and friends will return to the Temple University Diamond Club, Lower level, Mitten Hall 1913 N Broad St, Philadelphia, from 3 to 5 P.M.
