Madeline Ravett

Madeline Ravett, 92 years old, of New York City, New York, passed away on October 18, 2025.

 Madeline was born on September 20, 1933 in New York City to Edward and Mary Perlman  She was the cherished wife of the late Stanley Ravett, devoted mother of Stephanie Ravett (the late James Kippen) and Eric Ravett (Gwen Abeles). She was the loving grandmother of Clay Kippen (Sisi Liu), Hunter Kippen (Hearan Won), Jake Ravett and Arielle Ravett. Grams adored her great grandchild, Romi Kippen.

Madeline graduated from Hunter College and spent most of her adult years as a practicing Interior Designer. In addition to Interior Design, she enjoyed painting and print making and all aspects of the arts including opera, ballet, classical music and culinary arts. She was an active member of ASID and served on the board of the New York City chapter. In her later years, she treasured her volunteer work at the Museum of Modern Art.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services, Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 1:15pm at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Madeline’s memory may be made to the MS Society in honor of her mother Mary.
