Marian Segall

Marian (nee Scharf) November 2, 2025 of Penn Valley, PA. Devoted wife of the late Dr. Martin Segall; loving mother of Dinah Lenet, Edward (Sophia) Segall and Sondra (Kent Iverson) Segall; proud grandmother of Mars Segall and Max Lenet.

Marian grew up in Wynnefield and Bala Cynwyd, and attended Lower Merion High School. Known for her sharp wit, mental acuity, ability to do arithmetic in her head, shopping karma (the metziah hunter), and her uncommon common sense. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Helen Scharf, and her sister, Gertrude Zimmermann.

Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services Wednesday, November 5, 11:00am at Montefiore Cemetery (Jenkintown, PA). The family will return to the Tower at Oak Hill, Penn Valley, PA (Social Room). In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to www.dav.org or www.glaucomafoundation.org
