Marina Meystel

Marina Meystel, November 11, 2023, of Arnold, MD passed peacefully; devoted Wife of the late Dr. Alexander M. Meystel; mother of Michael A. Meystel (Bow); cherished grandmother of Jacob and Alexander, Marina was a kind and loving woman who cherished her beautiful family and her good friends. She enjoyed literature and poetry. She loved live theatre, enjoying more than 30 years of performances at the Walnut Street Theatre. Marina architected her family’s escape from the Soviet Union to the freedom of the West and dedicated her life to supporting her late husband’s passion for teaching freedom of thought and expression. She and her late husband both loved to travel and had some wonderful adventures around the world over the years. The family visits to Toronto provided years of indelible family memories. But most of all she valued her time with her two grandsons and every piano recital she attended made her so proud. She was well loved and will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services, Monday, November 13, 1:00pm at Haym Salomon Memorial Park, 200 Moores Road, Frazer, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marina's memory may be made to The Barnes Foundation, Walnut Street Theater, or a charity of the donor's choice.
