MICHAEL CHARLES, June 10, 2013, 67, beloved husband, father, brother, and grand-father died early Monday morning after a valiant decades long fight with myelofibrosis. He combined the rare qualities of a gentle loving spirit with an astute business acumen. He is survived by his wife, Elisabeth "Lisa" (nee Lent), his children Jeffrey (Sara), Scott (Lee Ann), Alison (Lee) Sussman, Emily Erlbaum, and David (fianceé Lisa Randolph), sister Alexis Greentree, and brothers Gary (Vicki), and Steven (Amy) as well as his grandchildren, Mia, Talia, Jacob, Hannah and Noah Erlbaum and Sophie, Isabella, and Daniel Sussman. He is also survived by 13 nephews and nieces and 17 great nephews and nieces.
Services and interment will be private. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Ali and Lee Sussman, beginning Tuesday evening at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday 2 P.M. and Friday 12:00 Noon until 5:00 P.M. The family respectfully requests that contributions in Michael's memory be made to Depart-ment of Medicine Development Office Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine c/o Anne M.
