Michelle D. O'Toole

Michelle O'Toole passed away peacefully at home on October 22nd due to complications from autoimmune hepatitis. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Jim O'Toole, her son Daniel O'Toole (Shannon Bove), daughter Natalie O'Toole (Peter Dannemann), mother Rosalyn Ominsky (David Sachs), and brother David Ominsky (Catherine Moses). She is predeceased by her father, Harris Ominsky. 

Michelle attended Lower Merion High School and Drew University before going back to school for web design, which allowed her to pursue her creative interests. Passionate about helping other moms, she volunteered as a breastfeeding counselor at hospitals in the Philadelphia area when her children were small. She underwent a liver transplant in 2008 which granted her family 17 bonus years with her, for which they are so grateful. Michelle was an outspoken supporter of organ donation and would encourage everyone to sign up at donatelifepa.org. Michelle was also passionate about traveling, having explored Italy, France, and Greece with her husband during her bonus years. Michelle loved fashion, crafting, and had impeccable music taste. Above all, she was an incredibly supportive friend to those lucky enough to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday evening, November 6, 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Joseph Levine & Sons, 2811 West Chester, Pike, Broomall, PA.  On Friday morning November 7, visitation at  Broomall will continue at 11:30am with a memorial service at 12:00pm. Following services, at 1:30pm., everyone is invited to lunch at Anthony's Ristorante at Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, the O'Toole family requests donations to To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc, the organization that saved Michelle's beloved soul-dog, Shaina.
