Born in Philadelphia to Samuel and Mary (nee Berger) Fuhrman; Lived in Springfield Delaware County for over 52 years. Married 1943 Philadelphia. Graduated West Philadelphia High School 1941; Went to Philadelphia College of Art. Daughter Rachel Barton; Grandchildren, Scott Ehrlich & Matthew Ehrlich; Great Grandchildren-Samantha & Meghan Ehrlich. Luke & Lauren Ehrlich. She owned and managed Variety Store in West Philadelphia, Parkside area for 20 years; Building manager The Marketplace, Philadelphia; Manager, Stewart Company, Philadelphia Office Manager, Town Talk Newspaper, Media Volunteered Temple Sholom, Broomafl, PA. Interests- Traveling with family, Artist (watercolors), Sewing, and Baking. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Temple Sholom in Broomall, 55 Church Lane, Broomall, PA. Interment Mt. Sharon Cemetery in Springfield Twp., PA. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
