Myron Waxman

Myron Waxman, Liquor Industry Executive, First Lieutenant, Corps of Engineers, USAR 

Myron Waxman of Dresher, PA, former executive in the liquor industry for 60 years died on September 11, 2024 in Dresher PA with his loving family by his side. He was 95 years old. A graduate of Cheltenham High School, Class of 1948. He was a 1952 alumnus of Temple University School of Business. He served in the Military during the Korean war in Germany. Myron was the son of the late Abe and Estelle Israel Waxman, he was married to his beloved wife, Janet Stevens Waxman for 68 years. He was the only survivor of his three brothers, Robert, Alvin and Ronald and sister, Wilma Sacks. 

Survived by his children Lynne Waxman Morris, Steven Waxman (Claire, nee Giardino) and Deborah Waxman Chinn (Howard). Also survived by his grandchildren Jordan Waxman (Courtney, nee Bryson), Alexandra Chinn Hetznecker (Bryne), Jaime Morris Rotondo (John), Mariel Chinn Koci (Erald), Lizzie Morris, Jacob Chinn and Brooke Cilea (James Baumgart). Great grandchildren: Teddy and Hudson Waxman; Leonardo and Valentina Koci; Cameron and Shay Hetznecker and Wesley Baumgart. Survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mark and Ronny Stevens as well as many Waxman nieces and nephews.

Myron was an enthusiastic exerciser and walker, he began each day at 6 a.m. with his routine. He loved sports, especially the local teams and followed Temple, the Phillies, Sixers and the Eagles. His greatest love continued to be his family, and he took great pride in the legacy of four generations.

Services will be Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 12:00PM at Joseph Levine and Sons Memorial Chapels, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA.  Interment will be private.  Contributions in Myron's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
