COMER
NATHAN L. COMER, M.D., 82, of Penn Valley, Nov. 21, 2005. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita Ellis Comer. A psychiatrist, he maintained a private practice until his recent illness, with offices in his home and at the Institute of Penna. Hospital, where he was a past president of the medical staff. Dr. Comer was on staff and taught at many Phila. area hospitals. A graduate of the University of Penna. and Hahnemann Medical College, he received his specialty training at the University of Penna. Graduate School of Neurology and Psychiatry and at Penna. Hospital. Dr. Comer was a member of Temple Adath Israel, where he was a past chairman of the Education Committee. Born in Phila., he was the son of the late Rubin and Fannie Cassover Comer. Dr. Comer is survived by his sons, Robert, of Bala Cynwyd, Marc, of West Deal, NJ; daughters, Dr. Susan Kitei, of Allentown, Dr. Debra Comer, of Port Washington, NY; sister Celia Ziv; brother Edward; 6 grandchildren; dear friend Brenda Goldstein of Atlantic City. He was predeceased by a sister, Mollie Ullman. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Wed. 2 P.M. at the Chapel at Mt. Sharon Cem., Springfield Rd., Springfield, Delaware County.
