Oleg Maksimchuk

On January 26, 2026, Oleg Maksimchuk went home to be with the Lord. He was a beloved husband of his wife of 16 years Olga Maksimchuk (nee Govorushko); devoted son of Boris and Lyubov Maksimchuk; and cherished brother of Vlad Maksimchuk (Zhanna) and Tatyana Tsimura.

Oleg was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He served as an active minister at Word Of Life Church, where he was a deacon, small group leader, and church accountant. His life was marked by humility, faithfulness, and a deep love for God and people. He served tirelessly behind the scenes and in visible ministry, always ready to help, lead, and support others. In addition to serving his local church, Oleg also served the global church. He went on many missions trips to places like Nicaragua, Paraguay and Africa.

Oleg was very active and loved the outdoors. Some of his favorite activities included camping, cycling, fishing, cooking and even beekeeping. Oleg loved spending time with his wife. They traveled the world together; rode bikes together; and served in a variety of ways together. He also loved their cat, Ptcholka.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 30th, 2026, 9:30am at Joseph Levine & Sons 4737 E. Street Road, Trevose, PA. Interment to follow at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntington Pike, Jenkintown, PA.
