Patricia "Patsy" Tollin

Patricia “Patsy” (née Kanner), September 1, 2026, of West Conshohocken, PA, formerly of Villanova, PA. Wife of the late Sol Tollin.

Patsy was a school teacher and reading specialist/tutor for 40 years. She loved her work and, most of all, the children she taught. Her goal was always to prepare them not just for the next grade, but for what came beyond it — to build their confidence and independence and encourage them to take academic risks.

Originally from Baltimore, MD, Patsy became fully immersed in Philadelphia sports culture, thanks to her husband Sol, a lifelong and devoted Philly fan.

Patsy was a fiercely independent woman and, in many ways, ahead of her time — balancing motherhood, marriage, and a professional career long before it became as common as it is today.

Mother of Stephen Tollin; stepmother of Cindy Tollin, Michael Tollin, and Larry (Jennifer) Tollin; step-grandmother of Samantha, Rebecca, Georgia, Adam, and Lucas; and step-great-grandmother of Gemma. Patsy leaves behind a family who loved her, and a legacy that touched countless students and families. Now she and Sol can watch the next championship together.
