MITCHELL On June 1, 2002, PHILIP, of Philadelphia. 'A GEM' to his cherished wife of 54 years, Millie (nee Bimson). Born in Philadelphia in 1918, the affable Phil was a star athlete at Northeast High, a decorated Army veteran of WWII and a respected career salesman. Noted for his kindness, Phil took a special delight as a member of the Weatham Town Watch and was a favorite among his neighbors. In addition to his beloved wife Mildred; he is also survived by a brother, Jack Mitchell, brother-in-law, Lloyd Bimson; nieces and nephews in Philadelphia and Denver. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services, Sunday, June 16th, 1 P.M., at the Mt. Sharon Cemetery (Sec. N), Springfield, Del. Co., PA.
