PHYLLIS (nee Greisler), a successful businesswoman who was deeply committed to Social Justice, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2015, at her residence in Jenkintown, PA. Wife of the late Edward Ackerman, beloved mother of Karen (Robert Muehlenkamp) Ackerman, Margo Ackerman and Julie Ackerman, aunt of Phyllis, adoring grand-mother of Katie (Theo Yedinsky), Lindsay, Natasha and David and great-grand-mother of Dylan. Private Graveside Services will be held Friday, January 23, 2015. The family will welcome guests, Friday from 2:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the late residence. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA.
