Of Elkins Park PA. Wife of 60 years to Irwin C. Fox (dec'd). Beloved mother of Cynthia (Jacob) Sage, Dr. Stanley (Joan) Fox, Linda Fox (Joseph Ferrari) and Ruth (Mark) Macdonald. Grandmother of Naomi, Rebecca, Abigail, Rachel, Alex, Eliana, Shaelyn and Erin. Great-grand-mother of Noa and Yossi. Pre-deceased by twin sister, Maxine Ilgren. Daughter of Lillian and Alexander Harzenstein.
Mrs. Fox graduated from Overbrook High School, Phila-delphia, PA in 1938. Attended University of Maryland for 2 years. Volunteer for Federated Jewish Appeal (FAJA). Active in Women's American ORT, past President of Cheltenham Chapter ORT, 2 years.
She was generous and kind to her family and friends, and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother. She was tough, inde-pendent, and resilient until the day she died. She was dedicated to the Jewish community, Israel and her country and a true example of uncompromising principles.
Relatives and friends are invited to Services Sunday, September 3, 2017, at 9 A.M., at Roosevelt Mausoleum, Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, PA. The family will return to the late residence and respect-fully requests contributions in her memory be made to Congregation Adath Jeshurun or Women's American Ort.
