October 31, 2018, of Bala Cynwyd, PA; beloved wife of the late Dr. Robert B. Swain; loving mother of Steven (Karin) Swain and Andrew (Julia) Swain; devoted sister of Dr. Jerome W. (Vincent Finocchio) Mersky; cherished grandmother of Jacob, David, Rachel and Matthew. Phyllis, a retired high school teacher and office manager of her husband's medical practice, loved her family and was very appre-ciative of her friends. She will be greatly missed. At Phyllis' request, no funeral services will be held. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
