RAYMOND, of Philadelphia PA. On Friday, July 18, 2014. Ray Thompson passed away quietly at his home and at the same time the Binswanger family lost a treasured member of their family. Ray had several passions in his life. He was a Sergeant Major in the Marine Corps and a romantic that loved jazz, cigars, sitting on the beach, cooking, books, and Philadelphia sports. Even though he never married he was a big believer in family and thought nothing was more important. He is survived by his younger brother, Leonard R. Thompson as well as his extended "Binswanger" family of co-workers and the entire Binswanger family. Ray, the self proclaimed "Mayor of Ritten-house Square" will be missed.
