Richard Horenstein

March 23, 2017, of Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, MD. Son of Dr. Mitchell and Shirley Horenstein; brother of Paul (Julie) Horenstein; uncle to Jessica and Sydney. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Yale University, Yale University School of Law and Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine, he went on to complete his internal medicine internship at the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He worked tirelessly during his Fellowship and as an attending Endocrinologist and researcher at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He had a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and passions for science, current events, books, art, music, and golf. He was devoted to his family and deeply cared for the multitude of friends he developed throughout his life. Relatives and friends are invited to services Sunday 1PM, Beth David Reform Congregation, 1130 Vaughan Lane, Gladwyne, PA 19035. Internment at Haym Salomon Memorial Park, Frazer, PA. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Dr. & Mrs. Paul Horenstein, Sunday and Monday night.
