Rita Sachs, a former long-time resident of the JFK House in Philadelphia passed away at the Horsham Home for Jewish life on Friday, September 25, 2026. Rita, (Rachel Bas Reuven) the daughter of the late Rubin and Sally Cherry was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard “Bernie” Sachs, and her brother, the late Stephen Cherry. She will be missed by her stepchildren, nieces and nephews, her cousins Steve Levy and Larry Levy and her close friends Neil and Joy Scholnick and Irene Silver.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
