ROBERT M., August 10, 2014 of Rydal, Pa. and Jupiter Florida. Beloved husband of 55 years to Alene (nee Weintraub). Proud father of Jayne (Brad) Fuller and Patricia "Patty" (Richard) Grobman. Brother of James Alper. He is adored by his grandchildren Jessica, Benjamin, Rachael, Daniel and Josh. He was a standout basketball player at Overbrook High School and The University of Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of the Wharton School, a real estate developer of houses, townhouses and office parks. He served in the United States Air Force. A member of Philmont, Squires and Admirals Cove where he was an avid golfer. He was a generous supporter of Israel, the National Jewish History Museum, Congregation Rodeph Shalom and many other Jewish and cultural charities.
Relatives and friends are invited to Services Wednesday August 13,1:00 P.M. at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Road, Trevose. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will return to the late residence and request that contributions in his memory be made to the Bachmann- Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation: 551 Fifth Ave. Suite 520 New York, NY. 10176.
