It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the death of Robert C. Lauyer, Jr. who died in a tragic work site accident, on June 24, 2025. Rob was a family man who loved to spend time with his fiance and children enjoying their home. As a proud Union Member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 1, PA/DE, he loved his job as a stonemason, and his brotherhood.
Rob was a beautiful man, his extraordinary good looks went deep into his beautiful soul, which he shared with us all, with his beautiful smile and contagious laugh. All of us, as well as all that knew him, will carry the memory of this remarkable man forever. Rob is survived by his fiance Stephanie Lee Smith, his queen; his precious children Brookelyn, Bosston and Russell, and his dog Bubba. He will be deeply missed by his Aunt JeanJean (Jean Mari), Stephanie's parents Kevin and Jennifer Stein, and his cousin Coley (Nicole Mari) as well as Stefie's brothers, Beck Stein, River Stein (Nicole) and Ryley Stein (Myranda). Rob is leaving behind his heartbroken family. His parents Robert C and Joan Lauyer; his brother Matthew Lauyer (Nicole); his sisters Carissa Feeney (Caitlin) and April Giddings (Kenny). Nephews Warren Grey Giddings and baby Lauyer. Niece, Loagan Giddings, 15 Aunts and Uncles, and 43 cousins.
