(nee Silber);July 23, 2023 of Haverford, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA; beloved wife
of the late Sidney August; devoted mother to Lynne Ellis (Art) and Ina August (Moe
Reich); cherished grandmother of Daniel Ostrow and Joshua Ostrow. Relatives and
friends are invited to graveside services, Tuesday, July 25 11:00 am, at Montefiore
Cemetery, 600 Church Road, Jenkintown, PA. After interment, shiva will commence at
the home of Ina August and Moe Reich on Tuesday and Thursday with minyan at 7:30
pm and will continue at the home of Lynne and Art Ellis on Saturday and Sunday with
minyan at 9:00 on Saturday evening and 7:30 on Sunday evening. Please note, there
will not be shiva on Wednesday night due to the holiday of Tisha B’Av. In lieu of
flowers, contributions in Rosalie’s memory may be made to Germantown Jewish Centre
(germantownjewishcentre.org) or a charity of the donor’s choice.
