Ryah Pauline Schwartz

Ryah P. Schwartz (nee Sherman) of Elkins Park, PA passed on June 25, 2026. 

Ryah was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Irving R. Schwartz; loving mother of William Schwartz (Maria Luiza), Joanne Buzaglo (Georges), the late Gregory Schwartz, and daughter-in-law Patricia Smith; adoring grandmother of Isabela, Daveed, Jonathan, Sarah, and Erin; and devoted aunt of Ann and George Burzynski. 

Relatives and friends are invited to chapel services Sunday June 28, 2026, 1:30 PM at Joseph Levine & Sons, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053. The family will begin receiving at 1:00PM. Chapel services will be streamed at www.levinefuneral.com/trevose-webcam.html. Interment to follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Joanne and Georges Buzaglo Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Philabundance (philabundance.org) and Female Hebrew Benevolent Society (fhbs.org).
