Sandra Perlman

Sandra Rita Perlman (nee Weinstein), 92, of Elkins Park passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Irv Perlman, loving sister of Lucille Goldberg (nee Weinstein), mother of Hal Perlman (Lisa), Beth Perlman, Karen Pitassi (the late Erik), and Jay Perlman (Marla), and adoring grandmother of Aaron Ward (Jen Quinter), Zachary Pitassi, Julie Perlman, and Joseph Perlman.

Sandy, as she was known to her family and friends, was the daughter of Harry and Rose (nee Rudolph) Weinstein. Sandy was born and raised in Philadelphia. She worked alongside her sister as a bookstore owner for many years. Sandy was the kindest, gentlest person you could ever meet. When she wasn’t working and spending time with family and friends, Sandy loved to be on the go. Sandy’s favorite time of year was whenever the Phillies were playing.

Family and friends are invited to graveside services on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1:00pm at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandy's memory may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research (lustgarten.org) or the charity of your choice.
