SELMA (nee Wolf) age 77 died Dec. 15, 2003, beloved wife of Nathan of Havertown, devoted mother of Howard Bender and Erma (Steven) Sarisohn, loving sister of Ruth Wolf, loving Nanna of Hannah and Katie Sarisohn. She was a Graduate of Temple University and received her certification as Reading Specialist from the University of PA. She retired from the School District of Phila. as a Reading Specialist last serving at the Barry Elementary School in West Phila. After her retirement in 1989, Selma taught part time as a Reading Specialist in a group home for abused teenage girls in Ardmore, PA. She also substituted at the Stratford-Friends School in Havertown until the Spring of this year. Relatives and friends are invited to Memorial Services Wed. 1 P.M. Temple Sholom, 55 N. Church Lane, Broomall, PA 19008. Int. private. The family will return to the late residence. Contributions in her memory may be made to Temple Sholom or The Hospice of Jefferson Health System, c/o Services Offices, Gerhard Building, 130 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
