Shelah Getzenberg of Philadelphia, PA died on August 27, 2022, after a long illness.

Shelah was born October 15, 1948, to the late Helen (nee Vilensky) and the late Nathan Getzenberg and was predeceased by her stepmother Beverly Weber Getzenberg.  She is survived by her sister, Joy Getzenberg of Chicago and her brothers, Andrew (Rita) Weber and Richard (Karen Lange) Weber of New Jersey.

Traveling and studying in Mexico in high school and Spain in college spurred her interest in travel and exploring different cultures.  Shelah was passionate about the arts, especially jazz, Broadway, and classical music, with Mahler being her favorite. She loved art, cooking, theater, and film. Meeting Willie Mays at an All-Star game in Philly was one of her favorite memories.  Truly a Renaissance woman!
