Shirley Milgrim

Shirley Milgrim (nee Gorson) of Philadelphia, PA passed on September 19, 2024.

Shirley was the loving mother of Ellen Milgrim (Andrew Keiser) and Samuel Milgrim (Maggie). She was the author of four books including Pathways to Independence, the official guide for Independence National Historical Park, for the Bicentennial. She was also a prolific artist whose work was featured in many shows.

Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services on Monday, September 23, 1:30 PM at Montefiore Cemetery, 600 Church Road, Jenkintown, PA.

The family will observe Shiva at Har Zion Temple, 1500 Hagys Ford Road, Penn Valley, PA 19072 on Monday and Tuesday evenings with services at 7 PM.
