Shirley Rebecca Newman

Shirley Rebecca Newman (nee Finestein) on December 11, 2021, of Phila., PA. Beloved wife of the late Sidney; adored mother of Dr. Judith Newman and the late Ronald Newman (Susan); cherished by grandchildren Michelle Newman Issadore (Scott Kiefer) and the late Brian Newman Issadore as well as by great-grandchildren Hannah, Sasha, and Elliott. Shirley is also survived by grandchildren Wayne and Eric Newman.


At 96 years of age, Shirley remained a smart, beautiful, kind, vibrant and quite independent woman. She had been a favorite aunt, a lifelong friend to many, and an active volunteer for several organizations meaningful to her.


Relatives and friends are invited to services (Face masks are required) Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 12:00 P.M., JOSEPH LEVINE & SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Rd., Trevose, PA. Chapel services will also be webcasted at www.levinefuneral.com/funeral-webcam.html. Interment to follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
