Sonya Gloria Kaminsky
Sonya Gloria Kaminsky (nee Silverman), "Sunny" to her friends, died in her Philadelphia home on February 27, 2019 at age 90. She was born in Philadelphia PA to Paul Silverman and Mary Surman. Sunny was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph P. Kaminsky and her brother Donald B. Innis. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Kearney (Michael), and grandsons Jeffrey and Andrew.
As accomplished musicians, Sunny and Joe loved, laughed, and played beautiful music together for 35 years, after which she carried Joe's original and other sheet music everywhere, playing wherever she discovered a piano. She retired from the IRS, loved Atlantic City and the beach, and particularly enjoyed being with her grandsons in Colorado.
Services are private at Shalom Memorial Park, 25 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
