Of Dresher, PA, died peacefully on November 4, 2017 surround-ed by his family. Beloved husband of the late Joy N. Ellis; loving father of Betsy Cohen (Jay Cohen), Robert Ellis (Carole Ellis), Jon Ellis and Mindy Ellis; also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania after serving in the Army during WWII. He created Ellis Garage Door Company which continues to service the Great-er Philadelphia area. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 6th 12:00 P.M. at Congregation Or Shalom, 835 Darby Paoli Rd., Berwyn, PA 19312.
