Stella Davis

Stella Davis (nee Schwartz), December 12, 2024, of Newtown, PA; beloved wife of the late David; loving mother of Steven Davis (Laura), Howard Davis (Randi) and Matthew Davis (Randi); devoted sister of Diana Kroop (Sherman); cherished grandmother of Sarah, Zachary, Samuel (Carly), Isabelle, Chloe and Adam. 

Stella was a teacher for 36 years in the New York City Schools, the first woman to be bat mitzvah in her congregation, a devoted wife, mother, congregant, choir member, and lifelong learner. She inspired everyone she met with her strength, resilience, and love of learning. Stella was an independent woman, compassionate, and unwavering in her love and commitment to family, faith, and education. 

Relatives and friends are welcome to graveside services on Sunday, December 15, 2024, 10:00AM, at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Rd., Elmont, NY. A funeral service will follow later that day, 3:00PM at Congregation Kol Emet, 1360 Oxford Valley Rd., Yardley, PA. 

Since Stella loved meals with family and friends, everyone is welcome to remain at Cong. Kol Emet for a meal of condolence following the service. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Randi & Matthew Davis on Monday and Wednesday.  Howard and Randi will welcome friends at their residence on Tuesday from 1:00PM-7:00PM.  Steven and Laura will welcome friends at their residence on Tuesday from 3:00PM -7:00PM.
