Stephen Pesce

On Tuesday, January 2nd, Stephen Anthony Pesce passed away at the age of 33 in Riverdale, Maryland. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Trewin, his father, Domenic Pesce, and his grandfather, Vito Pesce. He is survived by his brothers Domenic (Natasha) and Dylan (Bersaveh). He was a proud uncle to Cameron and Grace; loving grandson of Christine Pesce, Earl and Ellen Trewin; beloved nephew of Michael D’Amico, Christopher Pesce (Joanne) and many more; cherished cousin to Natalie, Christina and Joshua Pesce, Joseph Hodson, and many more.

Steve was raised in New Jersey and lived in Philadelphia for several years, where he studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Temple University and the Community College of Philadelphia. For years as a Software Engineer, he worked on multiple systems for public-sector clients, most recently for the U.S. Coast Guard. Steve excelled in his most recent role at Synergy BIS and quickly established himself as a leader, developing key functionality for multiple high-profile systems. He was deeply respected by his peers and always looked for ways to proactively help others improve their performance and code.

Steve left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had many interests he was passionate about, including: weight lifting, skiing with his family and friends, music, gaming, coding/programming, and spending quality time with those he loved.
